Sports Development Coach & Marketing Support - Gloucestershire

Overview:

 

Just Camps is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sports Development Coach & Marketing Support. This role will involve leading sports coaching sessions within schools, facilitating PE development programs, organising school holiday activity camps, and spearheading initiatives to grow our business, particularly at our Gloucester camp. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for executing social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive enrolment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions within schools, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and physical fitness.
  • Design and implement PE development programs tailored to the needs of each school, aligning with curriculum requirements and promoting a lifelong love for sports.
  • Lead and supervise school holiday activity camps, creating engaging and inclusive programs that cater to a range of ages and abilities.
  • Develop strategies to increase participation and revenue at our Gloucester camp during term breaks, leveraging marketing tactics, partnerships, and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for business growth and develop actionable plans to achieve targets.
  • Take ownership of the role by managing your own diary effectively, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative and innovation in generating ideas to enhance our services, improve customer experience, and differentiate us from competitors.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, parents, and community stakeholders to foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Organise and host occasional birthday parties on weekends, ensuring a fun and memorable experience for all participants.
  • Execute social media marketing campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to showcase our programs, events, and testimonials.
  • Help monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries and comments, and maintain a positive online reputation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new tools related to sports coaching, child welfare, and social media marketing.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly with children and adolescents.
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and the ability to adapt coaching techniques to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, school staff, and online audiences.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and experience managing business accounts.
  • Creative thinking and storytelling abilities to craft engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative in driving projects forward.
  • Organisational skills to plan and execute coaching sessions, camps, events, and marketing campaigns efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and access to transportation for travel to different locations.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and safeguarding training.

Just Camps Activity Camp Manager - Banbury

Just Camps is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our coaching team during the upcoming holidays. Our coaches are passionate about providing children with opportunities to develop their personalities and learn new skills in a range of mainstream sports.

The Camp Manager role is designed to manage a Just Camps site and oversee the full day to day running of activities, liasing with parents and coaches to create an environment for both the kids and coaches to thrive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading structured sports sessions at our holiday camp for children aged 4-16 years old. The ideal candidates will have experience in delivering safe and engaging activities for children in a fun environment, and be driven to build positive relationships with campers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading a team and have exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will represent the company with professionalism and strive to maintain high standards of quality at all times.

Key Requirements:

  • Be available for Summer Staff Training Day (July 2024)
  • Level 2 or equivalent coaching/degree level
  • Experience working with children
  • DBS
  • Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Safeguarding and Prevent training (or willingness to attend training)
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Desire to learn

Preferred:

  • Level 3 coaching/degree or equivalent
  • Access to own transport

The desired candidates should be self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently. They should be adaptable and able to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children.

The ideal candidates will have experience in delivering safe and engaging activities for children in a fun environment, and be driven to build positive relationships with campers.

After -School Sports Coaches - Gloucestershire

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic After-School Sports Coach to join our team and inspire children through the world of sports. This role involves delivering engaging sports sessions in primary schools across Cheltenham and Gloucester. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coaching, have relevant coaching qualifications (Level One or Two, or equivalent), and possess experience in working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver dynamic sports sessions for primary school students.
- Foster a fun and inclusive environment that encourages children to participate in various sports.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by following safeguarding guidelines.
- Conduct activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and skill development.
- Motivate and energize children to be active and enthusiastic about sports.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to provide updates on children's progress.
- Maintain equipment and facilities used during sessions.

Requirements:

- Level One or Two coaching qualification in sports (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with children.
- Valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) or willingness to obtain one.
- Completion of safeguarding training.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
